The right temperature of your induction hob

Progressing from a technology for chefs only to an essential tool in any modern kitchen, the induction hob has changed the way we prepare food for ever, making the creation of our favourite recipes even more precise and safe. Have you just bought one, too? Curious about how to make the most of its potentials for your chosen cooking method? Just read our article and all its secrets will be laid bare!

  • Frying: since there are absolutely no flames on an induction hob, you can cover it with absorbent kitchen paper between the frying-pan and the hob itself. This protects it from oil splashes and marks, and once you’ve finished frying you only have to remove the paper and it will be completely clean. Confess: you’re already feeling like frying some fish!
  • Low temperature: since you can modulate the heat output with a great deal of precision, your induction hob is also perfect for making recipes that require a more delicate touch. Once the right temperature is reached inside the pan (containing your Sunday braised meat, for example), you only have to press a button to keep it constant until the dish is ready. And voilà, a perfect result!
  • Grilling: with a griddle pan suitable for an induction hob, you can grill any ingredient, from meat to vegetables, quickly and with excellent results. Raining outside? You can still have your barbecue with your friends!
  • Delicate cooking: how many times have you burnt the caramel or melted chocolate you needed for a dessert or cake? Lots of times, we all have ... but with an induction hob, which lets the heat spread perfectly evenly, you can say goodbye to that problem!

And with the Candy induction hob, entirely connected thanks to the simply-Fi App, you can start your induction hob from remote and also access an array of auto-cooking functions, including boiling, melting, simmering and frying.
