Breakfast: 3 quick and easy recipes for a better start to your day

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” How many times have we heard these words? We’ve lost count! The reason is simple: a rich, complete breakfast supplies us with all the energy to tackle the thousand commitments that fill our days, from work to study, by way of sport and exercise.  Join us in discovering some recipes to make your breakfasts even more delicious and help you to get up with a smile?

Chocolate oatmeal  breakfast cookies

Blend the oat flakes in a mixer. Melt the butter in a saucepan, take off the hob, add the oatmeal and mix thoroughly.

Whisk the eggs with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is the right consistency. Sieve in the flour and the baking-powder and keep whisking. Add the oatmeal and mix thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips and mix all ingredients until uniform.

Arrange the mixture on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, shaping each  cookie into about 5 cm in diameter.

Bake in an oven preheated to 170° (fan function) for 12-14 minutes, until the  cookies are golden brown.

Pancakes with hazelnut cream

For the pancakes: sieve the flour, sodium bicarbonate and salt into a bowl and add  sugar, yeast and eggs. Mix with a whisk.

Pour in the milk and keep mixing until the batter is ready. Then add a generous teaspoon of hazelnut cream.

For the topping: combine two tablespoons of hazelnut cream with 2 tablespoons of milk in a small saucepan, adding more milk depending on the density required.

Stack the pancakes and serve with the hazelnut topping, garnishing with seasonal fresh fruit.

Apple, pear and cinnamon smoothie

Wash, peel and cut up the fruit (apple and pear).

Add ice cubes, fruit, honey, cinnamon and milk in a blender.

Blend to a smooth uniform batter , decorate with slices of fruit and serve cold.
